## Common Questions

Do I need a Kalshi account or API key?

No. Anysite routes every request through its own infrastructure with a single access-token header — your Anysite key is all you need. You don’t create a Kalshi account or manage Kalshi credentials.

What’s the difference between an event, a market, and a series?

A series is the contract template (KXBTCD — a recurring Bitcoin price series). An event is one instance of that template for a date (KXBTCD-26JUN1604). A market is the individual Yes/No contract inside the event — say, whether Bitcoin closes above $74,799.99 by that date.

Is the data live, historical, or both?

Both. The markets endpoint returns current bid/ask, volume, and open interest read at request time; markets/history returns OHLC candles for any window at 1-minute, 1-hour, or 1-day granularity — enough to backtest a strategy or chart a probability curve.
