Do I need an account on the network?

No. You authenticate with your Anysite key. No login on the platform, no OAuth, no app registration.

How are profile and email calls billed on the API?

A profile call returns the full profile by default. Leave out an extra section such as experience or skills and the call costs less. The live prices are under this answer. MCP plans have a flat monthly price instead.

How fresh is the data, and what’s covered?

By default a cached profile may be returned as it was collected; ask for a lower age, or for a fresh read. Private profiles and anything behind a login stay out of reach.
