## Key facts about Anysite (as of 2026-10-19)

- Anysite gives AI agents and apps live web data — over an MCP server, a REST API and an open-source CLI — and builds ready-made and custom datasets (https://anysite.io/datasets/).
- Catalog: 900+ sources, 5,000+ endpoints (https://anysite.io/endpoints/).
- Pricing: MCP plans from $30/month, API plans from $49/month. 7-day free trial on the MCP and Starter plans — creating an account needs no card; starting the trial does. Datasets are quoted per project after a free sample.

# About Anysite

We build web data infrastructure for the AI agent era.

[Start for free](https://app.anysite.io/register?lang=en) Founded in 2024. Small team, building in public.

## What We Build

Anysite takes the position Stripe took for payments and Twilio took for communications: make the underlying primitive programmable, so builders can focus on what they’re building.

That primitive is web data. Anysite is the infrastructure layer between AI agents and the web — it turns any website into typed, queryable data at production scale.

Founded in 2024, we started from a simple observation: AI agents have a fundamental data problem. The web serves HTML meant for human eyes, not machine consumption.

Every agent in a projected $52B market by 2030 needs to read the web — pricing, profiles, discussions, filings — and none of that data arrives machine-ready by default.

Teams that build extraction in-house learn that maintenance compounds faster than value. Our answer treats every website as an API — self-healing, consistent, production-ready.

## How We Work

### Self-Healing Infrastructure

Infrastructure that breaks isn’t infrastructure. The extraction engine detects structural changes and adapts; when it can’t, it fails loudly — no silent data gaps.

### Developer-First

One YAML file describes a full production pipeline — extraction, transformation, storage, scheduling. The CLI is MIT-licensed: infrastructure should be inspectable and forkable.

### Privacy by Default

Encrypted in transit over HTTPS; API keys scoped per credential. What you collect stays yours.

## How We Got Here

2024 Q1

### Founded

Started with business data extraction and n8n integration nodes. Day-one belief: web data access is an infrastructure problem, not a tooling problem.

2024 Q2

### Instagram

Added the Instagram integration and established the unified API structure — consistent JSON schemas across platforms.

2024 Q3

### Write Operations

Added write operations for professional networks.

2024 Q4

### DuckDuckGo, Reddit, and Scale

DuckDuckGo search and Reddit integrations went live. The platform reached thousands of daily API calls.

2025 Q1–Q2

### MCP Server, Twitter/X, and Credit Pricing

Launched the MCP server for AI agents. Twitter/X integration launched. Introduced credit-based pricing — pay per request, not per month.

2025 Q3

### Rebranded to Anysite

Renamed from Horizon Data Wave to Anysite. Launched universal web parsing — clean content from any URL, not just pre-built platform integrations.

2025 Q4

### Flat MCP Plan and Pricing Restructure

The flat $30/month MCP plan went live, alongside a broader pricing restructure.

2026 Q1

### CLI, Agent Protocol, and Crunchbase

CLI launched with YAML pipeline definitions, database integration — SQLite, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse — and an agent-ready protocol. Crunchbase endpoints added; the free tier retired.

2026 Q1–Q2

### MCP Server v2 and Platform Expansion

MCP server v2: five meta-tools, server-side caching, dynamic endpoint discovery. Coverage grew across YouTube, SEC EDGAR, Crunchbase, and more — plus agent-platform integrations.
